I chose breadth over an early specialism because the problems I'm interested in, political risk, crisis communications, cybersecurity governance, don't respect disciplinary boundaries. A regulatory fight over AI is a legal question, a political one, and a communications one at once.
This site exists because most news now reaches people on demand rather than at a fixed hour, and reading something isn't the same as understanding what it means. I track stories across a defined set of areas, work through what's actually at stake, and publish the analysis, as much a discipline as a portfolio.
I'm building toward a career in strategic communications, political risk, and public affairs, particularly where cybersecurity, AI governance, and financial or corporate risk intersect.
